Blogging season is upon us (yes, it’s a thing) and life has been CRAZY! I’m talking media events every night and promo shoots every day kind of crazy. It’s an incredible whirlwind but sometimes when there is so much going on, it’s easy to lose sight of why we (as creators) do what we do in the first place. When I learned about Happy Feat and was offered the opportunity to work alongside Atlanta Classic Cars and Concours D’Elegance 2017 in partnership with them, I jumped at the chance.
Lucy Miller founded the Happy Feat organization as a high school student. Her mission? To bring happiness, value and love to each and every one of our special needs friends and their communities through friendship, happy events and inclusion. When I heard that, everything slowed down for me.
On Thursday, 9/21, I hosted a #BloggerBenzParty with Atlanta Classic Cars, Happy Feat and some of my favorite Atlanta creators. We spent the evening laughing, taking silly pictures, and getting a VIP sneak peek at some of the amazing cars showing at the Concours on 9/30 + 10/1. I still don’t know much about cars (other than that these were GORGEOUS) but I do know every person who came that night left with a heart more full than when they arrived.

The Atlanta Concours d’Elegance is the first premier automotive event to grace the metropolitan Atlanta region and will include 170 vintage and collectible vehicles, as well as approximately 250 rare and high-interest privately owned automobiles…. all at one of my fav places, Chateau Elan. (To say that I am excited for all the food, wine and luxury is an understatement.)
“Our goal this year is to create a full weekend of involvement for not just collectors — but true car aficionados and club members — to partake in memorable interactive opportunities which will highlight classic cars of provenance that may just become future collectibles,” said Harry Krix, co-chairman for the Atlanta Concours.

One of the most memorable parts of this entire experience was having the chance to collaborate with the folks over at Atlanta Classic Cars. Aside from the fact that they are some of the most kind, compassionate people I’ve ever had the privilege to work with… they also let me have some one on one time with the Limited Edition Falcons G Wagon. No big deal…. (OK, I LIED- BIG DEAL! RISE UP, BABY!!)
If you’re in the market for some new wheels, make sure to stop by and see my friends at Atlanta Classic Cars and they’ll be sure to give you the VIP treatment too.
I will be on site with Atlanta Classic Cars for Concours 2017 at Chateau Elan on Sunday, 10/1 – come find me and say hi! I seriously can’t wait to see you all there.
